Announcing My Candidacy

Greetings Fellow Lions,

It is my distinct honor to notify the Lions of 4-C6 of my intention to enter the election process for the position of 2nd Vice District Governor for 2009-2010 in District 4-C6.

I am an active member of the Salinas Host Lions Club, which is a club in good standing in District 4-C6.

I have received the endorsement of the Salinas Host Lions Club.

I served as Club President of the Salinas Host Lions Club in 2007-2008, and as 2nd Vice President in 2006-2007; both of these positions have membership on our club’s board of directors. Currently I am immediate-past president of our club, which is a position on our board of directors.

I also served as President of the Carmel Host Lions Club from 2000-2001, and 1st Vice President from 1999-2000, and also served on the board of directors.

I served as Region Chair for District 4-C6 from 2005-2006 and Zone Chair from 2004-2005.

I served as District Cabinet Secretary-Treasurer for District 4-C6 in 2006-2007.

I believe I have met the qualifications for this position and I wish to be placed on the ballot at the 2009 convention in Sacramento for election to the position of 2nd Vice District Governor.
